WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Sunshine Choir will have rehearsal Saturday, December 21st from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Sanctuary.
NPBC Christmas Program sponsored by the Sunday School Ministry will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 during our morning service. The theme “The Miracle of Christmas!” Please join us for a most spiritual and uplifting program. Please contact Brother Craig Umstead for more information.
Mission Ministry will distribute Senior Gift Bags to NPBC members age 70 and over on Sunday, December 22nd.
Christmas In the Mountain project ends on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Upcoming Events:
A Season of Congregational Prayer and Fasting: Join us on a 10-day, 21-day or 31-day season of prayer
and fasting. Ten days of prayer begins January 1st followed by 21-days of prayer and fasting. Guides will be available on the website and in the vestibule Sunday, December 22nd. For more information, please contact Sister Margaret Wall prayer@newprovidencebaptist.com.
January 8th – A One-Night Teaching Session: Fasting from a Biblical Perspective to support the season
of prayer and fasting. Join us Wednesday, January 8th, 7:00-8:15 pm. Invite family and friends to join

The WMBA Union Meeting will be held at Springfield Baptist Church on Saturday, December 28th at 9:00 AM. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. (4309 Auburn Knightdale Rd. Raleigh, NC. Host Pastor is Dr. Sturdivant).
The Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Memorial Banquet” will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at
the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, North Carolina at 7:00 PM. The cost is $75.00 per person.
Doors open at 6:15 PM.
The Woman’s 1-Day Session is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel also. (Address: 4700 Emperor Blvd.)
All Chairpersons! Any special programs planned by the various ministries for 2025 should be submitted to Sister Yvonne Highsmith by Tuesday, January 21st. Please send all request to: (npbc_admin@newprovidencebaptist.com).
REMINDERS:
Noon Day Bible Study is held each Wednesday at 12:00 Noon with exception of holidays. Bible Study will resume on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. (Dial 848-220-3300. Access code 7266492#).
Evening Bible Study: The study will continue on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The First Aid Ministry will administer blood pressure checks on the third Sunday of each month. If you would like your blood pressure checked, please come to the front of the Sanctuary after our morning worship service.
NPBC Prayer Line Call-In will be available every Thursday morning at 6:00 AM.
